The Seeding Ventures Equity Fund provides
flexible, patient capital
to minority-, women-, and LGBTQ-owned businesses, ensuring they can
scale, secure contracts, and drive economic transformation
in undercapitalized communities.
Equitable Capital Access:
Providing MWBEs with flexible financing solutions, including revenue-based loans, forgivable capital, and procurement funding.
Bridging the Missing Middle:
Filling the
$50K-$500K financing gap that traditional banks and microloans fail to serve, ensuring MWBEs can
scale and compete.
Scaling Economic Power:
Strengthening undercapitalized communities by investing in MWBEs, creating jobs, and driving long-term wealth generation.
We are building a new financial system for MWBEs, ensuring they have the capital, business infrastructure, and procurement access needed to own and lead in the clean energy and broader economy. By deploying flexible capital solutions, scaling BIPOC-owned businesses, and ensuring equitable access to contracts and financial resources, we are transforming economic power structures and creating long-term wealth in undercapitalized communities.
The Seeding Ventures Equity Fund builds on the success of the Micro-SEED Program, expanding access to larger, long-term capital solutions for minority-, women-, and LGBTQ-owned businesses. Designed to fill the "missing middle" financing gap ($50K-$500K) that traditional lenders ignore, this fund provides patient, flexible capital to help MWBEs scale, secure contracts, and build lasting economic power.
With a blended public-private approach, Seeding Ventures Equity Fund ensures that MWBEs in Massachusetts—particularly in Pioneer Valley and other underserved regions—have the capital, infrastructure, and procurement access needed to thrive.
Closing the Capital Gap. Scaling MWBEs. Driving Economic Power.
Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) in Massachusetts face $574M+ in unmet capital demand every year, limiting their ability to secure contracts, scale operations, and create jobs. Traditional banks and venture capital firms overlook them, while microloans are too small to meet their needs. This has created a “missing middle” financing gap, where businesses needing $50K-$500K are left without access to sustainable capital.
The Seeding Ventures Equity Fund is raising $10 million to fill this financing gap and create a long-term financial infrastructure for MWBEs.
We provide:
By leveraging philanthropic investments, public-sector funding, and private capital, we are building a financial system that empowers MWBEs to lead, not just participate, in the economy.
Seeding Ventures is more than funding—it’s economic transformation. Join us in raising $10 million to scale MWBEs, create jobs, and build generational wealth in undercapitalized communities.
